Please take a moment to review the terms and conditions that govern your use of, and purchase of products from our website. 

Please be advised that the use of our website constitutes your agreement to follow the basic terms of our online-store.

Our Commitment to You

We hope that you are completely satisfied with your visit to our website, and subsequent purchase from us.  We are here to help you in any way that we can to ensure that your headwear buying experience, either in our store, over the telephone, or on-line, is as easy and enjoyable as possible.  We try our absolute best to ensure that your order is correct and your experience is exceptional, but we are only human - just like you - and sometimes we can make a mistake, so if we have messed up someway, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can work with you to quickly rectify it.


At both thehatshop.ca, and Granville Island Hat Shop, we respect your privacy. We will never sell or distribute your name or personal information to 3rd parties.  Our customer database is kept confidential and will only be used for direct communication between thehatshop.ca or Granville Island Hat Shop and you.  When you purchase in our store, please know that we do not store your credit card information, but rather it is processed through our Lightspeed Retail secure interface.


The prices on our website are all quoted in Canadian Dollars and subject to applicable taxes (12%). If you live outside of our amazing country, you may also have additional duties to pay upon receipt of your purchase. We ship via Canada Post and export documents are prepared at the time of shipping.


If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return your online purchase with receipt, for an exchange or store credit within 30 days. The store credit will work both in our physical store and your on-line
thehatshop.ca account.

All returned products must be sent using a tracked shipping method, with a copy of your original receipt enclosed. All products must be unworn and in original condition with the tags attached.

Please allow a minimum of 7 days for your return to be processed. Prior to returning an item, please call or email to obtain a Return Authorization code (RA).

Please note that any item without a Return Authorization (RA) code will not be accepted.

All sale items are Final Sale and may not be returned.

All fascinators are Final Sale items and may not be returned.
